“The average family spends more time together in the car during one month than they will spend attending programs in the church for an entire year. If time spent together lends itself to greater influence, parents are clearly in the position of greatest influence.  In light of this, we want to be intentional about the home being the primary place where faith is nurtured and equip parents to be the primary spiritual influence in their home.”

Was Solomon wrong?  Is there really nothing new under the sun?  Is it really just the same ol’, same ol’?  But what about all those verses where God declares that He is doing a new thing?  Join us in January as we look at some of the ways God re-creates us new in His Kingdom.  Know anybody who needs a new look?  Why not invite them along!

Parents and their Grade 1-2 child are invited to join us on Sunday, January 29 at either 9:30 or 11am in the Meeting Place for our first Faith@Home Event of 2012.  Our focus will be My Bible.

Join us at On The Green on Saturday, February 4.  Have a great lunch or dinner and play a round of golf and support our teat that will travel to the Czech Republic in late June to work with our missionaries, Mark and Gretchen Potma.

Join us at the church on Friday, February 10 at 7pm and spend an evening making a Joyful Noise! With over 30 of LSA’s favourite singers and musicians, you can be sure that the evening will have something for everyone. A free will offering will be taken in support of our 2012 Global Outreach mission trips.  See you there!

Have a cup of coffee or tea and connect with old friends – and maybe meet some new ones!

Looking for a place to volunteer?  We have several opportunities for you to serve in Apres Cafe.  No hard labour involved – just set out the refreshments.  Team training provided.
