Vision

We are called to lead people to have hearts that follow hard after God by creating relevant environments to encourage and equip people to grow in their commitment to God, in their community and contribution with insiders and in communicating the good news to outsiders.

Mission Statement

Lakeshore St. Andrew’s exists to encourage individuals to have a heart to follow hard after God through commitment, community, contribution and communication of the good news. (Deut. 6; 1 Chron. 16:9; Ps. 91:14-16; Matt. 22:27-40; Rom. 12:1-8)

Our Mission is Lived Out Through

Commitment

  • A personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. (John 3:3,16)
  • An ongoing pursuit of spiritual growth (2 Peter 1:3-11; Phil. 2:13)

Community

  • A desire to develop authentic relationships with others. (Romans 12:4-8; Hebrews 10:26)
  • Engagement in relationships which leads to accountability, belonging and care. (Galatians 6:1; Romans  12:10; Colossians 3:16)

Contribution

  • Identification and use of spiritual gifts.  (Romans 12:8; 1 Corinthians 12)
  • Responsible investment of time, talents and treasures (financial resources).  (Ephesians 5:15; 2 Corinthians 8,9; Malachi 3; Matthew 23:24)

Communication

  • An ability to communicate to others our personal faith through our life and our words. (Genesis 12; Matthew 5:16)
  • A commitment to develop relationships with people to introduce them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  (Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 4:2-6)
