Community

Jesus said that the most important command in all the Bible is to:
Love God and love others. (Matthew 22:37-40)

Small Groups are Lakeshore’s way of connecting people with God through Jesus Christ and connecting others in an authentic community of faith. Small Groups Study the Bible or other Christian literature in order to grow spiritually.  Offer faith-based friendship and prayer.  Seek opportunities to serve our world through acts of compassion. Challenge and guide one another on the journey toward emulating Jesus.

There are four different kinds of Small Groups designed to meet a variety of needs. Click on the links below to look for just the right group for you!

Growth Groups: Growth groups are designed to assist individuals to grow in their faith by studying God’s Word and sharing what they have learned with others in their small group. A variety of growth groups start up each fall and winter.

Service Groups: You are a person who desires to accomplish a task, knows your gifts God has given you and want to use them here at Lakeshore to volunteer on a team, or pitch in and help where needed.

Interest Groups: Interest groups provide an opportunity for individuals with a particular interest to meet together to enjoy the activity and develop new friendships at the same time.

Support Groups: Support groups seek to offer love, support and understanding to those who are dealing with or have experienced painful situations in their lives.
